Vietnam imposes preliminary AD duty on H-beam from China

Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has announced that it has decided to impose provisional antidumping (AD) duty on H-beam imported into Vietnam from China.
 
Accordingly, the preliminary AD duties stand at 29.40 percent for Chinese companies Heibei Jinxi Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. and Hebei Jinxi Section Steel Co., Ltd., 21.18 percent for Rizhao Steel Holding Group Co., Ltd. and Rizhao Medium Section Mill Co., Ltd. and 36.33 percent for other Chinese manufacturing/exporting companies.

The investigation was launched in October last year upon the application lodged by domestic producer POSCO SS-Vina Co., Ltd.

The products subject to preliminary AD duties currently fall under the Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7216.33.00, 7228.70.10 and 7228.70.90.
