Valin LY Steel posts 30.5 percent rise in sales revenue in H1

Hunan Province-based Chinese steel producer Hunan Valin Iron and Steel Group Co.'s subsidiary Valin LY Steel has announced that in the first half of the current year it produced 3.418 million mt of crude steel and 3.367 million mt of pig iron, while recording sales revenues of RMB 14.5 billion ($2.252 billion), with respective year-on-year increases of 15 percent, 13.5 percent and 30.5 percent.
 
Valin LY Steel stated that it has improved its operations by focusing on market development, standardizing its purchasing process, and increasing product quality.
