Brazilian miner and iron ore producer Vale has announced that it has revised its pellet production guidance for 2019 from 45 million mt to 43 million mt, in order to adapt its product mix to temporary market conditions. However, the company stated that this change in the guidance will not affect the company’s iron ore and pellet sales guidance for the current year, which is 307-322 million mt.

Vale underlines that it remains confident in the long-term global iron ore and pellet market fundamentals and above all in the high competitiveness, flexibility and the largeness of its high-quality product mix and top grade assets.
