Nucor Corp. announced on Thursday that it has chosen Brigham City, Utah, as the site for a new metal building-systems and components plant. The Charlotte, North Carolina-based company that specializes in mini-mills said the new facility will cost $27 million, have about 200 workers and is expected to open in early 2008.
