The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced Wednesday the preliminary results of its administrative review of the countervailing duty (CVD) order on corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products from Korea.
The review covers one company--Hyundai HYSCO Ltd.--during the period of calendar year 2009.
The DOC has preliminarily calculated a subsidy margin of 0.11 percent for Hyundai HYSCO, which is de minimis.
The current CVD deposit rate for Hyundai HYSCO is zero percent.
The DOC plans to complete this review by January 2012, and the current CVD duty deposit rate will remain in effect until the DOC's final results are published in the Federal Register.
