Production for the week ending April 10, 2010 is up 1.1 percent from the previous week ending April 3, 2010 when production was 1,712,000 tons and the rate of capability utilization was 70.8 percent.
Adjusted year-to-date production through April 10, 2010 was 23,564,000 tons, at a capability utilization rate of 68.2 percent. That is a 62.5 percent increase from the 14,506,000 tons during the same period last year, when the capability utilization rate was 42.4 percent.
