US Steel Europe announces price hike

US Steel Europe on Friday announced its plans to hike prices of all flat rolled products as of January 1, 2006. According to a press release, the prices will be increased by €20/mt effective with orders for delivery as of January 1, 2006. The price increase will be applied to the orders given for hot rolled, cold rolled and galvanized coils produced by US Steel Kosice and US Steel Serbia.
