US rebar exports up 4.1 percent in March 2026 from February

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of rebar totaled 5,149 mt in March this year, up 4.1 percent month on month and down 70.5 percent year on year. By value, rebar exports totaled $4.08 million in March, compared to $4.65 million in the previous month and $14.71 million in the same month of 2025.

The US shipped the most rebar to Canada in March with 2,558 mt, compared to 3,174 mt in February and 10,350 mt in March 2025. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US rebar exports in March.
