According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of rebar totaled 13,026 mt in January this year, up 293.4 percent month on month and down 55.6 percent year on year. By value, rebar exports totaled $11.78 million in January, compared to $2.9 million in the previous month and $22.69 million in the same month of 2025.
The US shipped the most rebar to Canada in January with 11,865 mt, compared to 2,403 mt in December and 23,586 mt in January 2025. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US rebar exports in January.
