On Tuesday, December 2, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) made its final determination in the sunset review of the antidumping order against rebar imports from Turkey.

In a vote of 4-2, the ITC made a negative determination, finding that revocation of this order would not be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of injury to the domestic industry.

Accordingly, the antidumping order against rebar from Turkey will be revoked.

Within the coming weeks, the ITC will publish a written determination which will contain an explanation of its decision, and the US Department of Commerce will announce that the order has been revoked.

The effective antidumping orders for Turkish rebar were in a range of 1.66 percent to 41.80 percent before the ruling.
