In response to a request from Mexican producer Conduit S.A. de C.V. (Conduit), the US Department of Commerce (DOC) on July 10, 2006, initiated a new shipper review of the antidumping duty order on certain circular welded non-alloy steel pipe and tube from Mexico. The review covered the period from November 1, 2005, through April 30, 2006.
Since the producer certified that it did not export the subject merchandise to the US during the period of review, the DOC, on April 20, 2007, published the preliminary intent to rescind the new shipper review of the antidumping duty order on the subject merchandise from Mexico.
Upon receiving no comment on the preliminary results, the DOC has decided to rescind the new shipper review with respect to Conduit.
