On March 2, 1995, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed an antidumping duty order on stainless steel bar imported from Spain.
Upon the request of Spanish producer Sidenor, the DOC initiated an administrative review on April 28, 2006 of the antidumping duty order on stainless steel bar from Sidenor. The review covered the period March 1, 2005, through February 28, 2006.
The DOC has preliminarily determined that Sidenor made sales of the subject merchandise at less than normal value in the US during the period of review. Accordingly, a preliminary dumping margin of 62.85 percent has been set for Sidenor.
Interested parties are required to submit their comments on the preliminary results.
