On February 9, 1994, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed an antidumping duty order on forged stainless steel flanges imported from India.

Upon the request of Indian producer Hot Metal, which claimed that it did not export the subject merchandise to the US during the period of the investigation - July 1, 1992, through December 31, 1992, the DOC has decided to initiate a new shipper review of the antidumping duty order on forged stainless steel flanges from Hot Metal. The review covers the period February 1, 2007, through July 31, 2007.
