The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has completed its administrative review of the antidumping (AD) order against rebar from Turkey.

The DOC has calculated the following final dumping margins for the review period of April 1, 2006 through March 31, 2007: Ekinciler - 2.75 percent; Habas - 0.00 percent; Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) - 2.75 percent; and Nursan - 2.75 percent. The margins for IDC and Nursan are based on the result for Ekinciler.

Accordingly, when the DOC's final results are published in the Federal Register, the dumping duty deposit rate will become 2.75 percent for Ekinciler, IDC, and Nursan. As a result of the review, the DOC has revoked the order with respect to Habas. The revocation will be effective for entries which were made on or after April 1, 2007. Additionally, the DOC has calculated importer-specific dumping duty assessment rates and it will instruct US Customs and Border Protection to liquidate entries that were made during the period of review at these rates.
