On March 2, 1995, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed an antidumping duty order on stainless steel bar imported from Spain.
Upon the request of Spanish producer Sidenor, the DOC initiated an administrative review on April 28, 2006 of the antidumping duty order on stainless steel bar from Sidenor. The review covered the period March 1, 2005, through February 28, 2006.
In the preliminarily results dated March 28, 2007, the DOC determined that Sidenor made sales of the subject merchandise at less than normal value in the US during the period of review. Accordingly, a preliminary dumping margin of 62.85 percent was set for Sidenor.
Based on the comments received, the DOC has decided not to make any changes in the preliminary results. Accordingly, the final results of this review do not differ from the preliminary results.
