The US Department of Commerce (US DOC) has announced its final determination in the sunset review of the antidumping order (AD) against rebar imports from Turkey.

Accordingly, the DOC has determined that revocation of the antidumping duty order on steel concrete reinforcing bar from Turkey would not be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the United States within a reasonably foreseeable time.

SteelOrbis previously reported that the US International Trade Commission (ITC) had transmitted its determination in this review to the US DOC on December 15, 2008.

The effective antidumping orders for Turkish rebar were in a range of 1.66 percent to 41.80 percent before the ruling.
