U.S. Customs wants to halt schemes to escape S201 tariffs

U.S. Customs indicated it has been trying to identify schemes aimed at locating loopholes in the antidumping duties and Section 201 (S201) safeguards. The Specialty Steel Industry of North America indicated it will work closely with U.S. Customs Service officials to attempt to halt such schemes. The association commented that it expects the initial impact of the S201 measures will be felt in Q2.
