Unemployment in Turkey increases to 14.1 percent in March

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the unemployment rate in Turkey increased by four percentage points year on year to 14.1 percent in March this year and fell by 1.2 percentage points when compared to February.

Meanwhile, in March this year the employment rate in Turkey was recorded at 45.4 percent, decreasing by 1.7 percentage points compared to the same month of the previous year.
