Ukrainian pig iron exports up four percent in first quarter

According to the data released by metal trading enterprise Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company (UGMK), in January-March of the current year Ukrainian exports of pig iron increased by 4.4 percent year on year to 352,100 mt.

In March alone, exports of pig iron from Ukraine decreased by 17.9 percent compared to February, dropping to 86,700 mt.

In January-March this year, Ukrainian imports of pig iron decreased by 86.6 percent year on year to 8,000 mt.
