Ukrainian pig iron exports rise by 11 percent in 2012

According to the data released by metal trading enterprise Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company (UGMK), in 2012 Ukrainian exports of pig iron increased by 10.9 percent year on year to 1.968 million mt.
 
In December alone, exports of pig iron from Ukraine increased by 16.4 percent compared toNovember, rising to 209,700 mt.
 
In 2012, Ukraine registered a 22.4 percent decrease year on year in its pig iron imports to 33,900 mt.
