Ukraine’s Ukrzaliznytsia restricts iron ore shipments to Liberty Ostrava

Ukrainian railway company Ukrzaliznytsia has announced that it has imposed certain restrictions on the transportation of iron ore for Czech Republic-based steelmaker Liberty Ostrava, a subsidiary of UK-based Liberty Steel.

The restriction, which will apply to transportation of iron and sinter ore, iron ore concentrate and pellets to the station Ostrava-Bartovice (Czech Republic) in the direction of Liberty Ostrava, entered into force on October 14, 2023, and will be valid until canceled.
