Ukraine’s long steel exports up very slightly in Jan-Oct

In the January-October period of the current year, Ukrainian exports of long steel products increased by 0.1 percent compared to the same period of 2011, rising to 4.779 million mt, according to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers. In October alone, Ukraine's long steel product exports decreased by 4.6 percent month on month to 452,900 mt.
 
In January-October, Ukraine registered a 1.3 percent decrease year on year in its long steel product imports to 350,930 mt. In October alone, Ukraine's long steel product imports increased by 6.5 percent month on month to 37,170 mt.
