Ukraine’s DMKD repairs blast furnace No. 12

Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works named after F. Dzerzhinsky (DMKD), a subsidiary of the Ukrainian steelmaker Industrial Union of Donbass (ISD), has started the second grade overhaul of its blast furnace No. 12.

The overhaul will include replacement of the blast furnace's charging device and of the components of its charging equipment, the repair of the furnace's shell, and the complete renewal of its refractory lining.
