In the January-August period of the current year, the output of merchant iron ore pellets mined by Ukraine-based Central Mining and Processing Plant (Central GOK) totaled 1.58 million mt, up 0.8 percent year on year.
In the same period, the company’s output of iron ore concentrate increased by 13 percent year on year to 3.2 million mt, SteelOrbis has learned.
In August alone, Central GOK mined 212,450 mt of iron ore pellets.
