Ukraine’s Central GOK posts increased iron ore output for H1

In the first half of the current year, the output of merchant iron ore pellets mined by Ukraine-based Central Mining and Processing Plant (Central GOK) totaled 1.2 million mt, up 1.4 percent year on year.

In the same period, the company’s output of iron ore concentrate increased by 12.2 percent year on year to 2.4 million mt, SteelOrbis has learned.

In June alone, Central GOK mined 208,000 mt of iron ore pellets and 405,000 mt of iron ore concentrate, respectively.
