In September this year, Ukraine increased its coke imports by 430 percent compared to August to 8,640 mt, of which 7,720 mt were imported from Poland. In the first nine months of this year, Ukraine's coke imports increased by 314 percent year on year to 217,550 mt.
Meanwhile, the country's coke exports in September decreased by 49 percent compared to August to 88,470 mt. Ukraine's main coke export destinations in September were Iran (30,700 mt), South Africa (14,180 mt), Turkey (14,020 mt), and Russia (7,050 mt). In January-September this year, Ukraine's coke exports increased by 62.6 percent year on year to about 1.022 million mt.
