Ukraine exports 5.775 million mt of long steel in 2010

In 2010, Ukraine's long steel exports increased by 17.3 percent year on year to about 5.775 million mt, valued at almost $3.3 billion.
 
In December 2010, Ukraine's long steel product exports went down by 3.4 percent compared to November, but increased by 8.2 percent compared to December 2009, to 486,790 mt, valued at $307.22 million, down 2.6 percent month on month.
 
Ukraine's main long steel export destinations in December were Russia (83,270 mt), Iraq (82,740 mt), India (43,570 mt), Romania (28,640 mt), Jordan (27,170 mt) and Nigeria (20,510 mt).
