Two men were charged Wednesday in a case involving another man accused of operating an illegal scrap metal business.

Michael Bendele, 49, and Christopher W. Imel, 20, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana, allegedly received stolen property after buying railroad crossing arms and electrical wire during a police sting operation, according to court documents.

Last week, police arrested Gary J. Imel, 53, also of Fort Wayne, on charges of corrupt business influence and six counts of receiving stolen property.
