Turkish plantmaker CVS Makina has announced that it has signed a contract with Kosovo-based steel galvanizing plant Llamkos GalvaSteel Company for a turnkey plant to produce 210,000 mt per year of rebars.
The new rebar plant will be located adjacent to the existing galvanizing plant in Kosovo, and is expected to be commissioned by the first quarter of 2014. Llamkos GalvaSteel aims to meet the demand in the domestic and Balkan market.
The plant will be designed in line with CVS Technologies' best technology in the field of steel plant machinery in order to achieve low investment, high productivity, high production flexibility, low specific consumption cost and high quality of products.
