Turkey's basic metals turnover down 1.3 percent in April from March

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistics Institute (TUIK), Turkey's monthly industrial turnover index in April this year increased by nine percent year on year and rose by 1.9 percent month on month, following the 3.4 percent month-on-month increase recorded in March
 
In April this year, the industrial turnover index for the manufacture of basic metals in Turkey increased by 3.2 percent year on year and moved down by 1.3 percent from the previous month. In April, the industrial turnover index for fabricated metal product manufacturing, except machinery and equipment, in Turkey increased by 10.3 percent year on year and was up 1.8 percent from the previous month.
