Turkey’s industrial production continues to rise in October

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜIK), in October this year Turkey's monthly industrial production index (2005=100) increased by 9.8 percent year on year, while the seasonal and calendar adjusted industrial production index rose by 3.1 percent compared to the previous month. October was the thirteenth consecutive month in which a year-on-year increase was recorded.
 
In October, the index for the manufacture of basic metals increased by 10.3 percent year on year and was up 6.8 percent over September, while the index for the manufacture of fabricated metal products rose by 11.3 percent year on year and was up by 16.5 percent compared to the previous month.
