Turkey-based Celik Makine Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. (Cemtas) has announced that its planned production halt period will now take place slightly later due to increasing prompt orders. Accordingly, the new dates for the production halt are June 16-July 5 for the continuous casting line and June 27-July 12 for the rolling mill.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, Cemtas recently announced a three-week production halt at its continuous casting line and rolling mill due to modernization work which will enable the company to produce 200 mm x 200 mm square billets.
