Turkey’s automotive exports up

Led by passenger car exports totaling $3.59 billion, Turkey's automotive exports rose 24.1 percent year on year to $10.58 billion in the first ten months of the year. In October alone, automotive exports rose 18 percent year on year to $1.11 billion. For the January-October 2005 period, the Turkish automotive sector exported to a total of 174 countries and self-governing territories, as well as 15 free zones.
