Turkey-based MMK Metalurji’s finished steel sales down 14.3% in Q2 from Q1

Russian steel giant Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has announced that its Turkey-based subsidiary MMK Metalurji's finished steel sales decreased by 14.3 percent quarter on quarter to 198,000 mt in the second quarter of the current year, while its finished steel sales in the first half of this year totaled 428,000 mt, falling by 7.6 percent compared to the first quarter.

In the second quarter, the hot rolled flat product sales of MMK Metalurji amounted to 9,000 mt, decreasing by 64.9 percent, while its galvanized steel sales increased slightly by 0.9 percent to 149,000 mt, both on quarter on quarter.
