Tosyali to set up 4 million mt pellet plant with Sinosteel in Algeria

Beijing, China-based Sinosteel Engineering and Technology Co. has announced that Sinosteel Equipment and Engineering Co. (Sinosteel MECC) and Tosyali Iron Steel Industry Algerie SPA (Tosyali), Algerian subsidiary of Turkish steelmaker Tosyali Holding, have signed an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to set up a 4 million mt capacity pellet plant in Algeria. The contract is worth $263.5 million (around RMB 1.734 billion). Construction work for Tosyali’s pellet plant project will take 24 months.
