Chongqing Steel posts net loss of RMB 2.722 billion for 2025

Chongqing-based Chinese steelmaker Chongqing Iron & Steel Company Ltd. (Chongqing Iron & Steel Co.) has announced that it registered an operating revenue of RMB 24.002 billion ($3.5 billion) in 2025, down 11.9 percent year on year, while it posted a net loss of RMB 2.722 billion ($0.39 billion) for the given year, compared to the net loss of RMB 3.196 billion recorded in 2024.
