Tonggang Group produces 3.82 million mt of crude steel in Jan-Nov

In the January-November period last year, Jilin Province-based Chinese steelmaker Tonggang Group, a subsidiary of Chinese steel giant Shougang Group, produced 4.2312 million mt of pig iron, 3.8242 million mt of crude steel, and 4.0152 million mt of finished steel, as reported by Shougang Group on January 28. In addition, the company’s output of iron ore in January-November totaled 2.2215 million mt. Tonggang Group achieved an operating revenue of RMB 21.209 billion ($3.4 billion) during the period in question.

 

The overall production costs of Tonggang Group in the January-November period last year amounted to RMB 16.471 billion ($2.627 billion), down RMB 1.264 billion ($202 million) or 7.13 percent.
