On August 21, Chinese steelmaker Taiyuan Iron & Steel Corporation (TISCO) announced its prices for hot rolled coil orders in September.
The mill has increased its prices by RMB 50-100/mt ($7-13/mt) from August levels. The new ex-factory price of Q235 grade 3.0 mm hot rolled coil is RMB 3,390/mt ($447/mt), while that of 5.5 mm is RMB 3,280/mt ($432/mt).
17 percent VAT is not included in these prices, which are effective from August 21, 2007.
