TISCO announces name change
Indian producer Tata Iron and Steel Corp (TISCO) announced on Friday that it had changed its name to Tata Steel Ltd., effective immediately. As previously reported by SteelOrbis, TISCO announced in May 2005 that it would change its name. Upon the approval of the company board, the registrar of companies, the Maharashtra state government, and the shareholders, TISCO officially made the switch to Tata Steel Ltd. last Friday (August 12).TISCO announces name change
