Tianjin-based Chinese steel producer Tianjin Metallurgical No. 1 Iron and Steel Group Co. has announced that it has carried out a successful hot test on its galvanized production line, within the scope of its project for relocation from the Beichen district in Tianjin to the Xiqing district in the same city.
The production line in question produces hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil with specification of 1,003 mm x 0.76 mm. The equipment was provided by Italian plantmaker Danieli. The construction of the line marks the completion of the first stage of Tianjin Metallurgical No. 1 Iron and Steel Group's relocation project.
