The proven iron ore reserves in Congo have increased

According to a report appeared in the press, Australia based DMC Mining Ltd.'s subsidiary Congo based-DMC Iron Congo, confirmed the total iron ore reserves of Mayoko-Lékoumou, in the south of Brazzaville and 300 km away from Dolisie, totaled to about 2.6 billion mt on July 13.

According to DMC, the first phase of exploration has proven reserves of between 30 million to 700 million mt, or even 1 billion mt. The Lékoumou iron ore mine exploration began in April 2010 and iron ore reserves is calculated by drill holes in Mayoko area.
