On August 26, Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group announced that in the first seven months of the current year its subsidiary Tangshan Iron and Steel Co. sold 35,774 mt of hot dip galvanized (HDG) products, more than double compared to the same period last year.

In January-July this year, Tangshan Steel actively focused on expanding its market share of HDG products due to the higher profit margin afforded by HDG.
