Tangshan increases prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai Tangshan Steel announced on March 29 its April price list. For details, please see the following: 1. Based on its previous price hike on March 6, Tangshan Steel lifted its CR coil prices by RMB 200/mt ($25). Now the ex-factory prices of 1.0 mm SPCC CR sheet is RMB 5,000/mt ($ 623). 2. The ex-factory prices of HR sheet/coil reaised RMB 150/mt ($19). Now the ex-factory price of Q235 2.75 mm HR product is RMB 4,050/mt ($504), while those of 5.5 mm HR products are at RMB3,900/mt ($486). The above prices include taxes. Since Baosteel's price hike on March 23, domestic leading steel mills lifted their April prices one after another, bolstering market prices. The softened Shanghai HR market showed indication of rebound this afternoon.
