The municipal government of Tangshan in China’s Hebei Province has issued another round of emergency emissions reduction measures effective from 18:00 on October 11 to 24:00 on October 18, aimed at tackling air pollution. The move follows previous emergency measures which had ended on September 28.
The emergency emissions reduction measures include 50 percent production cut at sintering machines and shaft furnaces in steelmakers across the city.
Meanwhile, after 24:00 on October 18, Tangshan will implement production cut measures for autumn-winter season.
