Tangshan Donghua Steel’s 4 million mt HR production line starts operation

The 1,450 mm hot rolling production line of Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Tangshan Donghua Iron and Steel, with Sinosteel MECC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinosteel International, as the EPC general contracting construction party, was successfully put into operation on September 8.

The 1,450 mm hot rolling line has an annual capacity of 4.0 million mt, including 500,000 mt for cold rolled production, 500,000 mt of hot rolled pickled coil and 3 million mt of hot rolled commodity coil.
