Talley Metals increases stainless bar prices

According to recent market reports, Talley Metals, a subsidiary of Carpenter Technology Corporation, is increasing prices for all grades of stainless steel round bars, hexagons, and squares by 3-7%, effective as of August 2 on all new orders and shipments. The increase is being implemented to cover rising costs for supplies and energy as well as the need to recover declining revenues over the past few years due to the falls in market pricing.
