Taiyuan Steel targets stainless output of 2.8 million mt in 2010

Shanxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Taiyuan Steel has announced that for 2010 it is targeting a crude steel output of 10.12 million mt, a stainless steel output of 2.8 million mt, sales revenues of RMB 110 billion ($16.11 billion) and a net profit of RMB 1.5 billion ($219.71 million).

As regards its key aims for 2010, Taiyuan Steel said that during the year it will seek to ensure orderly progress of key projects, the steady development of the company in relevant diversified fields and the harmonious growth of the company. Taiyuan Steel added that in 2010 it also aims to further improve the company's overall competitiveness and also the quality of life of its employees.
