Taiyuan Steel issues ex-factory flats prices for February

SteelOrbis Shanghai On January 24, Shanxi Province-based Taiyuan Steel released its ex-factory flat rolled prices for February. The details are as follows. 1. Hot rolled coils: Prices increased RMB 59-117/mt ($8-15). As a result, the ex-factory price of Q235 3.0 mm is now at RMB 4,060/mt ($523), while that of 5.5 mm is at RMB 3,850/mt ($495). 2. Medium plate: Prices of 12 mm medium plate increased RMB 234/mt ($30), while those of the other specifications increased RMB 351/mt ($45). Following the adjustment, the ex-factory price of 12 mm is now at RMB 3,990/mt ($514), while that of Q235 14-20 mm is at RMB 3,920/mt ($505). The above prices include taxes and are effective as of January 24, 2007.
