Taiyuan Steel hikes HR prices for October

On September 17, Shanxi Province-based Taiyuan Steel released ex-factory HR prices for October, which are RMB 300/mt ($40) higher compared with the September levels.

Thus, the ex-factory price of Q235 3.0 mm is now at RMB 3,690/mt ($491/mt), while that of 5.5 mm is at RMB 3,580/mt ($476/mt).

The above prices exclude 17 percent VAT and are effective as of September 15, 2007.
