Spain’s industrial turnover index down 2.6 percent in May

The Spanish industrial turnover index in May this year decreased 2.6 percent year on year, while the calendar adjusted index went down by 3.6 percent year on year, according to data issued by the Spanish national statistics office (INE).

On the other hand, the new orders index in the month of May decreased by 3.7 percent, while the calendar adjusted new orders index dipped by 4.6 percent, both year on year.

In the first five months of the current year, the Spanish industrial turnover index recorded a 2.3 percent decline, while the new orders index went down 2.5 percent, both year on year.
